Two-way overspeed governor VEGA 200 from Dynatech for use in the machine room or in the elevator shaft. The overspeed governor VEGA 200 is suitable for detecting and preventing uncontrolled cabin movement (UCM). The limiter is made in a design that prevents corrosion.
The overspeed governor can be used with cables with diameters of 6 mm / 6.3 mm / 6.5 mm.
The overspeed governor includes an overspeed contact, protection against ropes falling out and a safety switch with automatic reset (up to a nominal speed of 1 m/s inclusive).
The VEGA overspeed governor can optionally be equipped with the following accessories:
- A3 coil for UCM, voltage 24VDC, 48VDC or 190VDC
- Coil for remote tripping (testing), voltage 24VDC, 48VDC or 190VDC
- Remote electric reset, voltage 24VDC, 48VDC or 190VDC
- Overspeed gvernor cover (separate item, not included in governor packages)
The overspeed governor can also be supplied in a design against seismic shocks (EN 81-77).
When using the overspeed governor with the SD-BOX, the A3 coil voltage must be 24VDC.
The VEGA overspeed governor cannot be used for reverse mounting on the shaft ceiling, so-called "upside down".
