The VEGA B-Lift-Evo optical photocell is used to detect an obstacle in the door entrance to the elevator cabin. It thus prevents the cabin doors from closing and the subsequent collision of the cabin wings with an obstacle in the entrance and possible damage to both the wings and the obstacle (person/cargo).
The optical barrier VEGA B-LIFT-202-E / 220 VAC is a type of photoelectric barrier used for METRON automatic doors. It can be installed in both static and dynamic locations.
The package of the optical barrier includes a control unit for the cabin, optical strips (transmitter and receiver), extension cables, mounting accessories and a durable transport case.
