Two-way overspeed governor RQA-200 by Montanari Giulio for use both in the machine room and in the elevator shaft. The RQ-A200 governor is suitable for detecting and preventing uncontrolled cabin movement (UCM). The governor is made in a design that prevents corrosion.
RQ-A overspeed governors offer a wide speed range from 0.15 m/s to 3 m/s and can be used as a governor for both the car and the elevator counterweight.
The governor can be used with ropes with diameters of 6 mm - 6.5 mm.
The RQ-A 200 can be equipped with the following technical specifications:
- Unidirectional or bidirectional equipment
- Clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation
- Narrow governor base
- Possibility of limiter to be hung or reduced height of the limiter body
The Montanari Giulio RQ-A overspeed governor is, through the A3 (UCM) system, a device for the detection of uncontrolled car movements and the activation of arresters fully in compliance with the elevator safety regulations: EN 81-20 and EN 81-50.
The RQ-A overspeed governor can optionally be equipped with the following accessories:
- A3 coil for UCM, voltage 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC, 190VDC or 230VAC (bidirectional version only)
- Coil for remote tripping (testing), voltage 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC or 230VDC
- Remote reset with electrical control, voltage 12V, 24V, 48V or 230V
- Governor cover (separate item, not included in governor package)
- Hardened pulley
- Encoder or pulse wheel for sensing the position of the cabin
