Flat traveling cables are an integral part of every elevator shaft electrical installation. Flat traveling cables ensure the power supply of the electrical installation on and in the cabin and the communication of the electrical parts of the cabin with the switchboard.
The halogen-free design of the flat cables is used in elevator installations where it is needed, such as evacuation elevators, fire-fighting elevators and elevators where it is required by the fire department.
The cable's outer insulating sheath contains a special low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant thermoplastic compound.
The individual wires are, in the main insulating tube, placed next to each other in a white insulating tube marked with black numbers (except for the green-yellow wire). Only indoor use of cables is recommended.
